Objective	Ch. 10 Sec. 5-6 Surface Area Project
Resources to Understand Lesson	For your project, you will be creating 5 nets of 3D solids.  Cube Rectangular Prism Square Pyramid Triangular Prism Cylinder Start by watching these videos and trying the exercises from Khan Academy HERE EVERYTHING IS ON MY DESK! (including my example of a cube net) You must grab 5 different colors of construction paper. Research on your iPads of the different nets. Measure using Rulers (any distance in inches) the length, width and height of all the sides, LABEL! On separate sheet of notebook paper, show your work and find the SURFACE AREA of each shape. Staple all five nets and the notebook paper. Due at the end of class FRIDAY! Read silently if you get done with this and homework early.
